Cunningham (Andrew) House is built.

Designed in the Georgian style, it is located at 277 Washington Street. The building is converted to commercial use in 1795, becomes home to the publishing company of John West, and is subsequently renovated. It is purchased by Historic Boston Inc. in 1960 and subsequently restored.
